As the longest-running biweekly LGBTQ+ publication in the United States, Hotspots has informed, inspired, entertained, and connected generations of readers through meaningful journalism, community storytelling, arts and entertainment coverage, and advocating for important issues.

Today, through the Community Media Advocacy Network, which owns and operates HOTspots, we are committed to ensuring that voice remains strong, independent, and accessible for future generations.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to support, strengthen, and elevate LGBTQ+ media, storytelling, advocacy, and community engagement. We believe that every community deserves a voice. A voice that celebrates victories, addresses challenges, highlights opportunities, and preserves our history.

Our journalists proudly shine a spotlight on the people who make our community extraordinary—our nonprofit leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, performers, activists, healthcare professionals, business owners, and the countless bartenders, servers, hospitality workers, and staff members who create the welcoming spaces where our community gathers, celebrates, and thrives. We are honored to collaborate with OutSFL, a cornerstone of South Florida LGBTQ+ news and information. We are equally thrilled to participate in content-sharing initiatives with The Advocate, the nation's most respected LGBTQ+ media brand, which has documented and preserved our community's history for more than sixty years.
